Service Learning Grants
VREC provides annual mini-grants to inspire innovative school projects.
We are excited to now offer up to $700 for Service Learning Grants—an increased funding level for projects taking place during the 2026–2027 school year!
About the grant
VREC offers grants for service learning projects that take place during the school year. Projects such as, but not limited to, community gardens, local food shelf support, senior meals, or Green-Up Day activities which take place within a school community are all eligible.
Who can apply
Applications must be submitted by a team of at least three students, one school staff member and one community partner.
